Top Box Update Hepco Becker Easy Rack mount 950MTS

2018 950MTS using Hepco Becker easy rack mounting system for top case has failed causing damage to my bike. 
After 9000 miles, some off road, the support arms on both sides of my easy rack system have cracked. 
When cleaning the bike I noticed the cracks I removed the mounting hardware for closer inspection and discovered that my rear Grab rail has a crack straight through the middle top to bottom.  The crack is directly under where the rubber gromet sits between the mount ant the grab rail in the center. 
I contacted Hepco Becker, and they responded fast.  After they reviewed my pictures they offered replace or refund me for their parts.  I have yet to hear from my American supplier but I am confident they will contact or me them, to get the refund. 
I really like Hepco Becker products. 

What is very concerning is the damage to my bike.  The replacement grab rail cost $489.00 not including installation.  The part is one piece the entire box under the pillion seat.  Also note that this part houses the 2 power outlets which would need to disabled to remove and replace the the part.  So maybe installation is complicated not sure. 
If you are using this system maybe you should have a closer look.   


Worst part is now I have invested $700.00 in a top case and mount that I cant use. 
Looking at the luggage plate from SW Motech to see if I can adapt it for my easy rack mount.

The grab rails of the MTS never looked sturdy from the get go..I wish they used aluminum or steel tubes for this.
