Metallic noise from quick shifter

Hi and thanks for adding me. I've just got over 500 miles on my 950S and notice that when I down change using the DQS I get a horrible metallic clanking noise coming from the lower left side of the engine  I've phoned the dealer and they will look at it when it goes in for its first service bur wondered if anyone else has had this problem. It sounds like a bolt rattling around in a metal pipe and then it disappears.

MTS V2S - when changing down at low power I hear a loud metallic clunk like a loose spanner in the CAT? The dealer is trying to tell me its the chain, but Ive been riding 50 years and its not  Any ideas please?

I've had a 950 and V2S - both make the same sound on changing down occassionally. More often when changing down from high revs.
Don't know what it is - but it's normal.
I've wondered if it's the exhaust valve maybe ?

Thanks for the reply, I'll try removing the CAT and giving it a shake on a rainy day
