Rear brake pedal and side stand pad

    Hello folks,
I'm still getting used to my new to me 2017 950.
I've done a quick search into raising the rear brake pedal which I'm finding awkward to use in slow traffic and hill starts. Apart from the Aliexpress part, Its difficult to see what else out there would be suitable. Any other Multi owners adapted the rear brake pedal to raise it?
Also anyone use a side stand extender pad they are happy with?
All advice and replies much appreciated.
    Cheers all.

Have you tried swapping the front footpeg rubbers with the rear ones - this made a difference for me with the rear brake

In my opinion you have two options.
Try a aftermarket one (for sure you can find) or from what I remember there is an extender from Altrider.

Same for me.  Brake pedal unusable until I fitted the Altrider extender.

Where can the Altrider extender be purchased in the UK please?

I ordered mine from altrider directly I think (it was three years ago). Many of the online stores seem to stock it if you google something like "altrider brake enlarger multistrada 950". It was expensive but transformed the rear brake from useless to not so bad. It was impossible to hold the bike on the rear brake on a slope without it, especially with pillion.

The enlarger can also be fitted with a raised platform to allow use of the rear brake whilst standing - but I didn't bother ordering that as I was only interested in getting a functional brake in normal use.

As standard the pedal is almost directly under the engine and it's almost impossible to apply pressure to the pedal - with the enlarger it is much improved although still not great.
