    Wind blast.

Got a 18month old 950s. Brilliant machine. However I’m 6’4” and I’m struggling to get rid of the wind blast over the top of the screen. I’ve fitted the Iconic spacers and a wind spoiler. I can adjust it to get rid of the buffeting but I’m still left with the wind in my face. On my 1200GSA I could ride at silly speeds with my visor up, with this not so much. I love riding with my visor open so I’m looking to see what others have done.

I’m a bit shorter than you at 6’ 1” and have use the Ducati GT Touring screen with no buffeting at all. Like you, I will ride with an open visor up to about 70/80 mph. I’m sure one of our taller members will be around to give some advice. Screens are always a problem; what works for one rider is hell for another.

I'm 6' and the Ducati touring screen 1 click up does it for me. There's 3 or 4 more clicks to go making the screen very tall so could be the answer but as mentioned before in other threads there doesn't seem to be a direct screen/rider height scale to fit everyone.

It’s not always best to go higher when trying to eliminate wind blast, after I found out when I cut the screen down on my Triumph Tiger a few years ago. Everyone seems to have a different solution to the wind blast problem on the Multi. I bought Ducati’s little carbon screen and it works a treat for me (I’m 6.1). Still very noisy though!

Agreed. In my case I think it's the extra area of perspex and the small amount of flip-up that did it. I tried every different height of the standard screen and not happy at all. One click up on the touring screen and job done.
There are so many variations of physique it makes it a try it and see situation. Same six footers longer/shorter in the trunk sitting erect or slouching all affect head height - not to mention speed  :005: :745:
