Depends what you mean by "better". It is certainly one of the more expensive oils you can buy, but race oil is for racing and if you are not racing, then it is not doing the job it was designed for.
If you ride normally and are changing the oil at or before scheduled service intervals (or every year, which ever is sooner), then any quality branded oil that has no additives will do the job perfectly well.
Better quality oil and oil with greater synth content will last longer before it
needs to be changed, but if you are changing it at the service interval anyway, then it is not giving you much extra protection. That said, given how small the price difference is between the cheap stuff and good high quality branded oil when spread out between changes, it is not an area worth trying to save a few pennies on.
