I want to remove the handlebars from my MTS but I’m a little nervous because of the heated grips. If anyone has done it can they please advice me.

are you still working on this ? there are two screws holding the left grip, don't believe they are glued.
I just bought a MTS950 my self with no heated grips, I need to install them and I've the installation booklet.

Hey, thanks for the reply, I was beginning to give up hope! No I haven’t started yet as I’ve been busy. The reason I want to remove the bars is to get them, and the clamp, powder coated satin black so it’s not urgent.
I thought I could see a screw just under the grip, what about the throttle side? The other thing I’m concerned about is the power cable. I suppose I’m going to have to take the plunge and remove some paneling! Anyway, thanks for the info. Thanks

at the left handlebar, is held by two screws @ 2.8Nm +/- 5% the outer screw is 10Nm
the right/throttle controller grip is held by a few more screws @ 1.5 Nm -/+ 10% and outer screw 10 Nm
    .
again, I'm not a Ducati mechanic I'm just reading it from the heated grips installation booklet provided by Ducati.
