    Introduction

I gave up motorcycling, or so I thought, 2 years ago, after 40+ years. I sold my 2 bikes, (2010 Tiger 1050, 56000miles, 2016 Yamaha Tracer, 34000miles). This was due to my wife worrying each time I went out on either of them.  She has, this year, noticed how irritable I have become without a bike and has conceded. I am, therefore, in the market for a bike. I want something different. I have narrowed the choices down to 2, I think.  The Moto Guzzi V85tt or the MS 950. I will read through this forum, sh#t my pants (as we all do after reading any forum) then make a decision. I have test ridden both bikes. The MS is very refined, lovely to ride and, I think, very beautiful. The Guzzi is a bit rough and ready but it oozes character and is a blast.
As I said I will read through the forum and probably ask a few questions. Hopefully questions that have not been asked before. Thank you in advance.

    Hi
    Sounds like a great dilemma!
Quite like the slightly quirky look of the Guzzi - and of course the feel and sound of that engine - but have had a 950 since June and just really love it - such a lovely bike to ride - feels really well sorted - engine has such a great sound when overtaking - just makes you want to get out and ride the bike.
