Upper chain guide securing screw - check immediately

I was cleaning bike and noticed the upper chain guide was loose. Further inspection found that the bolt head was completely missing, assumed it had come loose, contacting chain and then snapped off.

The dealers are putting forward a warranty claim but whilst I was in the showroom I looked at the demo 950S and found the same bolt loose, already contacting the chain and no doubt a couple more miles would have sheared in the same manner as mine.

This can’t be coincidence, I recommend all owners check before the next ride and if it’s loose, report it through dealers.
