Thanks for having me in the group.
Iím from Darwin in the Northern Territory, Australia. Iíve been riding all sorts of bikes for quite a while now (Iím 60) and theyíve been my every day transport. The2020 950S is my latest bike and Iím loving it.

Iím a Mechanical Engineer and a fitter by trade, so I do as much of my own servicing (and repairs) as I can. Unfortunately the nearest Ducati dealership is more than 1300 kms away in another State (QLD) so Iíve been unable to clear the service remindersÖ, and affordable (compatible) aftermarket scan tools seem non existent for the 2020 model.

Hoping to pick up tips from the peeps in this forum, and hopefully I can return the favour from time to time.

    Cheers,
    Bill

Welcome, Bill! You stay about as far North as is possible in Australia! Kakadu National Park is on my list of places to visit, whenever I visit Australia.

Iím glad you really like your bike, sheís a beauty, yes! Iím coming off a heavily modded Kawasaki Ninja 1000 and the 950S is completely in a different league, be it connectedness with the rider and the road, the sublime handling, the superb SkyHook Suspension or that lovely motor, so full of character! Great bike!

The only flaw is the oft-berated windscreen which causes a lot of buffeting. Iíve installed the MRA Vario Touring screen and am still experimenting with various permutations afforded by itÖ but itís a definite improvement over the stock screen.
