Has anyone flashed their ECU from VR Tuned? They offer mail-in flash for the Multistrada 950 2019+ bikes claiming a staggering bump up in power and torque to 124bhp/109nm! Those figures, if true, are mighty impressive.

I've not come across VR Tuned.
But I have used BrenTuning on my BMW R9T. They don't show an option for 950 - but it's worth asking
    https://brentuningmoto.com/motorcycle_brands/ducati/

BrenTuning provide a handheld re-map gadget. This is useful as you can re-flash your bike at will. And have multiple maps.
Say your dealer flashes your ECU during a service - you can re-flash it at home again.

I got 2 maps with mine - one for high engine braking, one with less.

More expensive - but was worth it in my opinion.

You can revert to stock with the handheld device VR Tuning provide. However, Iím no longer looking at their tune. Had written to them and hereís their replyÖ

Me: Do you have a dyno-map for the VR Tuned flashed bike? How does one verify your companyís claim of gains of 11 BHP/13 NM?

VR Tuning: While we have not run one of these bikes on a dyno to confirm HP/Power gains, most of our client's choose to run their bike's against other stock bikes, or on a dynamometer, in order to confirm performance gains.

Good grief!! Iím wondering how they even posted the power and torque gains on their site! Unbelievable.

And next year, pigs might fly.

Let me guess, a box that plugs into the OBD and has flashing LEDs? Your money, your bike, your choice. Just not a choice I would make.

My mechanic is working on a map for my 950s, if it's works well he may be able to send it to other people with the same tool. Has friends in Italy and Sweden that share maps.
