    Another New Guy from Colorado

    Just ordered a 2022 V2S as a 70th birthday present to myself.

Previous Ducatis include a mid-70s 860 GT, the original 900 Monster and a Multistrada 1000 DS.  Been riding continuously since 1966, owned about 40 bikes, although many more passed through my hands when I bought and sold.

Currently, there are four other motorcycles in the garage:  1976 Moto Guzzi T3 period cafe bike, a 1994 Honda XR650L, 2012 Triumph Tiger 800 and a 2018 KTM 690 Duke.  The Triumph, while perfectly good, will probably leave the stable if / when I bond with the V2S.

Professionally, I am an engineer / sales director for an international company and I instructed car and motorcycle racing with a professional school for 29 years.

BTW, Badge502 is a friend, we plan many more motorcycle trips in the coming years, now on Multistradas!

My Multistrada V2s was delivered yesterday so You've picked a great bike!! The weather here yesterday was cold & very wet so spent the day fitting all the Evo-Tec Performance parts I'd bought for it but will get out on it today.

I bought the Evo-Tec Performance oil cooler, Radiator & engine guards, handguards & satnav mount. The handguards didn't fit. I rang Evo-Tec who said they sent them out assuming that they'd fit but didn't realise that Ducati had moved & repositioned the brake reservoir. They are developing an updated set to fit the V2s and said they will be released in a week or two. Everything else fitted ok although I struggled to fit the black section of the rhs fairing back on after removing it to fit the oil cooler guard.

Thanks for the heads up, I ordered some hand guard protectors for my new bike which arrives in the next couple of weeks.

Evotech are going to send the revised parts when they are ready.

    Cheers,
    Andy

Good choice, i want the oilcooler, radiator and engine guards, not because i need them but simply because they look good.
I'm not sure about the hand guards and i have the Ducati satnav mount.
