Trouble accessing the battery

Hello!
Having not used my bike at all for a few months the battery has unsurprisingly gone flat.
I tried to access the battery however the screw that holds the strap in place just spins around and doesn't loosen. Has anyone had any issue with this particular screw before? I really don't want to cut the strap so any pointers very welcome.
Cheers

same here, I endup removing the relay/holder bracket to access the battery, I installed a new relay with a distribution box. not sure what to do other than thinking about drilling that thing out and replace it with some sort of spring loaded locking screw.

Yeah think drilling it out is the best option. Thanks for the reply
