Anyone fitted a Kaoko Throttle Stabilizer. Looking at this for a long trip through Spain this summer as I don't have cruise control.

I tried one for my annual trip last year. I never could quite get the hang of it so I took it off. I also did not like the way it required you to pull the handguard out at the end of the bar so you could install it. It worked OK, I just never warmed up to it.

Too bad you are not in the US (shipping to you would be a pain, I think) as I would make you a good deal on mine.

Thanks Arashi for your feedback. Did it fit OK with the hand guards. Or what specially was it you were concerned about regarding the handguards.

I fitted one on my 2017 multi a few years ago  - easy to fit and works just fine on motorway journeys. Not as good as a cruise control naturally but certainly a bonus and something I do not regret fitting . It just makes the throttle a bit wider but not that you really notice cosmetically.

I have tried other throttle "stabilisers" prior to this and this one is certainly much better and neater

As the other poster said, it just makes the handguard a bit wider, but it fits OK. AS for operation, it works I just could not get used to it for some reason.

Thanks again everyone. I'm meeting a mate next week that has one and will make a final decision then, but looks like I will give it a try.
