    Time say goodbye

    Hi All,
Having been a member on this forum for over 5 years now and owning the 950 and the 950s I decided it is time to move on.
As we are all getting older I'm nearly 70,I'm now finding the bike getting a bit heavy so I feel it is time for a change.
Went down to the Triumph dealer and px my beloved 950 s for the Triumph Tiger sport 660.
I would also like to say that on this forum we all learn a lot of knowledge and enjoy a bit of banter and most of all there has been no nastiness on this forum which other forum's do have so it been a joy to be part of this group.
I will have some accessories for sale in the forum if you are interested.
    Ride safe my friends.

    Martin,
As I am at the same age as you and having just completed a 2000 mile tour in France I still enjoyed my old 2017 Multi immensely but like, you feel it is a bit on the heavy side for ageing (shorter) riders when moving around engine off and was half considering the 660 also as it looks a nice bike. There was somebody on the tour with the new Tiger 850 Sport and that seemed a good option - enough power and much lighter to move - I was quite impressed

Perhaps you can return to the forum at some stage and give your impressions on the 660
    All the best ,
    Pete

You will be missed here! I am also 69 but tall enough the 950 is not a problem, yet. My Concours 14 IS getting to be a struggle. Happy Trails on your Triumph.
We're lost but we're making great time!
