Leo Vince Cat Delete for 2022 V2S (Part Number 80011 vs 80028)

Good morning, relatively new here. (Also Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate!)

I've got a 2022 V2S and have been gifted a Leo Vince cat-delete pipe Part #80011, which is stated to be for the 2017-2020 950. (Part # 80028 is for the 2021.) However, checking with a Ducati Master Tech, the part number for the OEM part is the same for the 19-21. I've seen elsewhere on here that the header pipe diameter is different, but no indication as to which is larger/smaller. Going to try it out this winter, but wondering if anyone has any experience on this particular part.

    Thanks.

I'm afraid you've got the wrong one.
The 2021 and up has indeed a different diameter.

Which diameter is which? Is the new head pipe smaller or larger?

As far as i can tell the diameter for the rear cylinder manifold is larger on the older bikes.
Here are the links to the user manual for the Leo Vince eliminator 80028 (2021- ) : https://static.leovince.com/products/booklets/80028_booklet.pdf
    and for eliminator 80011 (2017-2020) : https://static.leovince.com/products/booklets/80011_booklet.pdf

The diameters are in the instructions.

I have the Leo Vince mid pipe (#80028) on my ‘21 950 S. Bought it after corresponding with Leo Vince who were clear that all Euro 5 Multistrada 950/V2 bikes will need this specific part number due to differing diameter of the cylinder header for Euro 5 bikes.

You will also need a Servo eliminator to avoid error code on the dash.

Should be easy enough to sell and get the correct one.

Hi, was this easy to fit?, also do you have a centre stand and if so did it foul in anyway?

Are you referring to fitment of the Leo Vince mid-pipe? That is a relatively easy installation, anyone with reasonable ability with tools will be able to fit it. I do not have a centre stand but I know of a rider who did and he said that the Leo Vince pipe does touch the centre stand and pushes it down a bit. He said it seemed that the centre stand may drag on the road with the bike leaned at healthy angles so he chose to retain the Leo Vince and removed the centre stand. However, if you choose to remove the servo motor (like I did) it becomes a rather complex job due to its location. i would suggest just disconnecting the servo motor and letting it remain in its normal position.

Many thanks for the info, as i suspected it does foul the stand, thanks again
