Hi everyone. Just picked up my new white Multistrada 950 about 2 weeks ago. I fall more in love with this bike every time I ride it. So I am 60 years old, pretty spry and flexible, but does anyone have any tips on an easy way to get your leg over that 33" seat height? I sort of stand to the low side while on the side stand and wing kick my leg over the seat. Not as easy to do with my Aerostitch 1-piece!

    Hi and Welcome RenzoPT
Like you I'm in my sixtys and I use the footpegs to climb on to the bike while on the sidestand, your only putting a bit of weight on the pegs and stand for about 2 seconds surely it can't do any harm.

A word of caution when placing a lot of pressure on the sidestand. It bolts directly to the engine block, (no frame attachment). My service tech mentioned he has seen a Multi totaled because of a cracked block at that point. Certainly a concern during transport if you leave the sidestand down using tie-down straps.

Hi Renzo - I do know what you mean. It's all about the height of your knee when you do the wing kick. With panniers fitted I do find I need a bit more help which is why I've bought one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/Mini-2-Fold-Rebounder-Trampoline/dp/B01C77V818
After a couple of unfortunate incidents I found the need for more insurance of my Crown Jewels so would also recommend one of these http://www.everlast.com/boxing/protective-gear/groin-protectors which is potentially a great look with the Aerostitch!  :156:
Shame they don't do them in white  :745:

yes I know, I have to stand at the side and it is as if I am doing a bit of kick boxing to swing my leg over as well after which I  usually find myself out of breath. |This old age is no easy. 51

Thanks Murph, I don't feel it although the bike keeps us all young. I am hoping to get out for a good run today
