    How do we rate the side panniers over the top box.
    Always had a top on all my other bike and think is may spoil the 950 supper slick ducati.

    I really like the Ducati side boxes plenty of room and they don't look too bad

    Correct meeting if I'm wrong, but the with Ducati panniers on, the rear width is wider than the front.....a filtering nightmare as far as I'm concerned. I just do not get the huge boxes I see on many bikes nowadays. Some appear as wide as a small car! At least with my Pan, I know that if the front goes through a gap then the back will also. For that reason I will be looking at some soft luggage for the Ducati. I must say, however, the Ducati panniers do look nice on the bike, albeit bloody expensive.

    Only one more day to wait until collection day!

    The width is  about the same as the handgurds
    Never had a problem filtering  :305:
