Wiring connections for Garmin Zumo cradle??

Fitted Zumo sat nav  with wired cradle to new 950 tonight and all good but just need to find the connection to plug it in.  Have been led to believe its under the left side black panel- anyone done it that can advise??

Hi Gogsy,

I've also fitted a Zumo (390) and yes there's a white connector under the left side panel, I ended up cutting the connector off and crimping directly as opposed to splicing into the wires, can't remember which colours but a volt meter will confirm, it's a great power source as it's on the ignition too.
The only thing that was fiddly was making the excess cabling tidy, I ended up stuffing it into the left side of the fairing, have to be careful keeping it away from the forks, especially because the zumo has that horrible big black box.

Thanks for the advice guys but still no joy- I have done everything as stated and plugged it in to white connector but no power going to sat nav- so cut off connector and joined cables directly but still no power.going to sat nav. What's happening??

Turns out wire has broken on sat nav cable so connector on bike was fine. Aaaahhhh!
Ah well, will get it sorted and all back together.
