    Headlight Dipping

Hi, was wondering if anyone has done or knows how to mod the headlights so that all 4 come on when you activate the hi beam switch. As of right now, when switching to hi beams, the riding lights go off. Which makes for terrible view since the hi beams only shoot straight and not the sides.

I've no idea how to mod this but have to agree with you. I don't see logic behind having the dip beams going off, for me the more light down the road the better.

Hope the link works, and it is for the multi 1200. Haven't tried it myself.

Has something to do with regulation... you canít use low beam and high beam simultaneously, only for giving signals.
Youíll see this behavior with every vehicle.

Feel free to mod obviously, but keep in mind that the police gives attention to those who seek attention ;-)

If you are handy with a soldering iron, this should be a five minute job. I have done this on most bikes I have had in the past that had separate high/low beam lights. Note that I have not done it with a MTS950 yet as mine hasn't been delivered. The low/high beam switch on the left hand switch gear takes a powered input and directs it to either the low or the high beam outputs. Un-solder the low beam connection and re-join it to the input connection and the switch will no longer turn off the low beam when you turn on the high beam.

@Paul_Smith If you do end up doing this to your bike, could you please take some photos of how you do it?
