    Hard to find MTS

I fear my stint of MTS ownership may have come to an end.  I live on the Texas coast and barely got out of my home with the clothes on my back last night.  Had to leave the MTS behind.  My wife and I canoed back to the house today.  I could not bear to look in the garage.  Hard enough to wade amongst our furnishings in the house.  About 3 feet inside when we went through, and still rising.  At this point, I'm just relieved my family is safe.

Thankfully, you and your family are safe angamico. Property can be replaced so stay strong and have faith that America has your back and will help you and all those impacted by this disaster. There will no doubt be hardship for so many but you will recover.

I've been watching the coverage here in the UK and it looks to be a real nightmare. I'm so glad that you and your family are safe; keep it that way. It sucks about your house and belongings but, unlike your lives, they can eventually be replaced. Good luck, man, my prayers are with you.

Angamico, the scenes that we are getting here on the tv are horrific. it must be so frightening. Sorry to hear about your belongings but I am thankful to the Lord that you and your family are safe.

Thanks to all for the well wishes.  I am so very fortunate, as this will only cause me financial pain and A brief moment of uncomfortable living.  There are many here without the means to recover.  There has been a tremendous outpouring of community help.  I had 10 complete strangers help me remove 2 feet of everything from my home.  Carpet, furniture, walls, insulation.  All to the trash heap, and we got it done in just 2 days!  We lost 2 cars.  The Multi amazingly survived because I had her on a track stand!

We will be renting a small apartment for a few months until we get the house sorted.

Good to hear the Multi survived but more importantly you and your family are safe and well. Hope you get sorted sooner rather than later.
