Anyone know when this bike is going to hit the dealers? I heard it could be as soon as January but that seems pretty quick to me  :187:

Been running round like a crazy cat this week getting ready for Christmas but meaning to give the dealer a bell.

    Does anyone know for sure?

I also heard January but after speaking to my dealer they said they expect to have a demo bike available sometime in February with bikes starting to appear and orders being fulfilled in March.

My Ducati dealer e-mailed me yesterday that production of the MTS950 has started earlier than expected. They will receive their demo model next week, instead of end of January.

Should be an easy production line for Ducati. Basically just blending the engine of the Hyper 939 and the rest comes from either the Enduro or the regular Multi. I'd expect first customer bikes to be delivered mid/end feb in Netherlands.

Talking to the dealer at the bike show in Toronto yesterday and was told the demos would arrive at the end of January with orders starting to be filled at the end of Febuary. Any thoughts on the 950 vs the1200s they had a nice 1200 demo but all those sensors scare me.

My dealer says he expects the demo bike to arrive late this week, but they want to prep it and get a few miles on it before letting it loose on customers. So probably not this weekend, but the following weekend. (First weekend in Feb). Not long to wait now. Hope it lives up to the hype.

He sounds keen ordering blind like that, I really like to have a test ride first. Only bike I've ever bought blind was a little Honda scoot that I had for a few years which I use to into commute into town with.

Yes, maybe too keen - although in his defence he did say he has tested the MTS1200 (shares frame and other bits) and the Hyperstrada (shares the engine). However, like you, I wouldn't order until I've actually tried the 950.
