Akrapovic has finally released a slip-on for the MTS950  :152:
Looks pretty awesome in the same style as the Superleggera race exhaust

Looks pretty good - but bet its pricey.

Ultimately its all about the looks, as its unlikely to improve any noticeable performance - and the sound will be very similar too.

Do you know how much it costs?

Looks to be just under £800 - nice but as you say is it actually worth that added expense (other than looking great)

They claim a slight increase in power but nothing that will ever justify the cost. That look though...  :002:

I prefer the look of the standard can. Even Termononi didn't change their pipe much away from the standard. I would say to get any performance you would really need to go for a full system

Does anyone have this exhaust? Can you describe the difference in sound?
    Can you make a movie?
    Thanks!  :028:

The bike I test rode for a couple of hours had an Akrapovic fitted and I thought it was a lovely sound. When I got my own bike a week later, I thought ‘what a lovely sound’. Honestly, there was no difference with the oem exhaust. Ok, you might save a kg or two in weight but I’d rather save a large wedge of cash to spend on something more useful.
