Gearbox false neutral downshifting from 6th to 5th gear!!

I have the same problem as our member Murf46 , in downshifting from 6th to 5th gear some times get stuck in a false neutral.

I have notice this behavior +/- 20 times in this 4.500 miles.

This post is created to know if there is any one with the same problem and how you resolve or what is your dealer info about this.

Just to inform you there are others with the same problem - I have it from time to time but I live with it (I seem to know instantly when it has occurred). Never had it with any bikes before (BMW / Honda / Kawasaki)

We the affected ones, Should stand toguether and make a mail or a letter to Ducati italy informing this fault. And see what they say about it ??

I have already fill a form indentifing this problem in ducati.com .... i recomend the afected ones to do the same, in order to make this more credible.

I had lots of bikes and this is the firts doing this issue. The bike should be flowless, dont you think??

Surprise guys. I was already been contacted by Ducati Italy, to go to my dealer for them to see if there is any thing with the bike, and then they have to report to ducati, if they see any issue or not ,for ducati costumer assistance pass the information to the technical department. and in the worst situation to make a recall.

that was what I thought until it happens  2nd time and 3rd and 4th .... and now I'm very careful doing that, never tried again when facing a corner... 

Please guys don't be sited and wait for it... if you are experiencing this issue randomly:
Go and report to www.ducati.com, go to Customer Service and then fill the contact form, in 24hours Ducati Italy will contact you with the procedure that you have to follow.

I have had this happen to me a handful of time. Much like buzzardbilly I just live with it. It seems to go in between gears and when I try to downshift again it won't mesh properly. It only occurs downshifting for me and I have had to come to a rolling stop to downshift. Thankfully it has happened on highway off ramps when I am trying to shed some speed and I could safely pull over. Maybe it's time to make some noise and get Ducati"s attention.

Yes, I think you should contact ducaty as I show in this topic.
