Chafing oil lines...

Whilst fitting engine bars today, noticed one of the oil lines between the sump and the oil cooler had chafed quite badly where it runs over the top of the water radiator, bike only done 550 miles..got to be worth a quick check of your respective bikes to see if you have got the same problem....
Easily accessed on left hand side of bike, remove the panel with the 'Multistrada 950' logo and oil lines are clearly visible..I have done a temporary fix by padding out the oil line from the radiator using some high density foam block..
Bike in for its first service next week, so hopefully dealer will get it sorted..

Temporary repair to oil line done, where the offending oil line enters the sump via a 90 degree elbow, this elbow had been tightened facing down towards the floor, thus causing the line to be under tension, the elbow slackened, oil line re-positioned and pipe freed off..
Replacement pipe on order from Ducati...
