    Hi guys,
do you want to share your top speed, I know that this is not a motorcycle for speed, but inside any of you, as it appends to me, at some time when riding in a motorway, an "idea"  :015: comes to my mind  :034: - "what is the top speed of this bike  :016: :038:" and with my 47liter top case roll the throttle and done (231kmh / 144mph) on the bike dashboard. its a fast speed for a tall and 220kg bike.

never tried again, it was just for the records lol. probably the real speed is more or less 210kmh. let me know yours and don't give that bla... bla... bla... talk. just want to know, if you don't know and don't fill that need, just keep your moral words to yourself (in a cool way)  :038:

    regards
... live to ride, ride to live :):):)
... ride to live, live to ride ;););)
    ... just f##king ride :P

Advertised top speed is around 210 if I'm not mistaken so that's not bad at all.

According to the manual, the dash adds 5% to the value it gets from the ECU (which may or not be accurate to start with).

Seen 120MPH (190KMH) with quite a considerable amount of ease. All on a race track of course, but it was getting up towards the upper ends of the rev range and suspect that there isnt a huge amount more left to go.

Fastest I've done was 227kph on my Multi 950.  I was tailing my buddy's BMW s1000xr at the time.  The power of the Multi 950 for me is enough - until I ride my 959.  Then I start imagining what the Multi 1200 would be like.  However, after riding a few kms on the 950 again, I start thinking " I'd be crazy to change this bike for a 1200!"  Really happy with my bike!

I agree about wondering about the 1200 and now 1260.... on a recent 1800 mile trip I did, not once did I feel that I wanted or needed more power! And I was able to pull away from a couple of BMW twins (RT and GS). However, the important aspect was that I had way more handling, grip and poise though, and its this that enabled me to get away a few times. But to be honest though, I am an amateur when it comes to the corners, someone more experienced would be able to push way faster than I could. So since I cant get to the limits of the 950, I dread to think where the 1200 is....

Fastest I have seen on the dashboard was 200 km/h, but the throttle was not on the end.
It was with panniers fitted, but that was no problem for the handling, still straight in line without swinging.

I have not tried faster at that moment as the BMW I was riding with could not follow... :001:
