Hi all.

Wondering if anyone has received the same email as me today. It states....


We would like to inform you that your Multistrada 950 in need of preventative service.
This service involves replacement of the water hose within the engine’s cooling system. This service is precautionary; it is intended to prevent potential damage to the hose and subsequent coolant leakage, under certain usage conditions of the vehicle.
This service is completely free of charge; as such we ask that you schedule a service appointment with your trusted Ducati Service Center soon. At this same service visit, your Ducati Service Center will also check for other necessary service updates that might be pending on your motorcycle. This ensures we maintain your motorcycle within Ducati’s optimal performance specifications.

Hi Darsey. I was thinking the same. I'll call my dealer in the morning and check if it's genuine.

It's great to know Ducati have responded well to possible issues. Well done Ducati.

Called my dealer this morning and its now booked in for the hose recall.

They said its not an urgent recall but obviously needs doing.

They also said it takes just over an hour to change the hose, which is good as I wont be needing a loan bike and can wait whilst its being done. There is a great biker cafe right next door to Ducati Snells, so it would be rude not to pop in and have lunch whilst I wait.

Today I received the email as well, but mine has already been recalled last week by the dealer, so the mail is not fake.
The bike was there due to replace curved braking discs (warranty issue) and install the heated grips (backorder).
