    Wine Noise / Buffeting

Hi guys, I  got the Givi screen which is better than the stock screen but at higher speeds above 100 km the wind noise and specially buffeting gets really bad.. Someone suggested Washers, I think this could be a good solution.. Im 6ft tall.. I found this link and shows DIY manufactured washers

    http://www.motorcycleinfo.co.uk/indexe648.html?fa=contentGeneric.xcqsqfklorcyzcxw&pageId=5092871

If the washers are the solution, how can we get the ones that would work on the 950? Also there are other suggestions adding the MRA clip on.. I have a Givi deflector but its in my way of vision, I like to look over the screen not through it

Seems it's a common problem with no 1 size fits all solution but from what I'm understanding is that the angle on the Multi's windscreen allows for more noise and buffeting that's why I'm thinking that maybe changing the windscreen angle outwards would remove those 2 issues...

Any feedback on how to completely fix these problems once and for all ?

Definitely a spacer at the base of the screen works - the MRA Vario Screen comes with this spacer so they worked that solution out as well

Buzzardbilly, I Want to try the spacer option, see how that works out ... If you know of spacers to get independently without investing in another screen please let me know

Murf46, Yes the deflector helped but I got a lot of glare when riding in the sun that I couldn't see clearly from it.
I know it's a motorcycle I love being in the elements, but I don't like the feeling of my head buzzing after every ride from buffeting, that's my main gripe, I got ear plugs for the noise and that helps a great deal

It would be good to reduce the noise and the goal is to try to eliminate buffeting all together for smoother rides

This chap is making and selling spacers/risers for the 15 and newer 1200.  They should fit ours.

I have no experience or connection to his product or him.

I put an inch spacer at the bottom of my standard screen. Great Job.

Hi Darsey.. Can you take a picture of it to see and understand what you did.. Where did you get it from or how can I get one?

I think the solution has to do with the screen alignment
