Ducabike handguard sliders

Anyone have experience with Ducabike products?

This is expensive, but it looks good and it seems that it would do a fantastic job of protecting the handguards and levers. I'd love to hear from anyone who has bought a Ducabike product, especially this one.

Holden - no experience but they do look an excellent product to protect those vuenerable indicators mounted in the handguards. I will certainly be looking to fit some based on feedback

Yes, they are expensive. I'm going to think on it for a while. I just ordered Evotech axle and body sliders, having them shipped from the UK to Florida.

I'm holding off on the handlebar sliders. I was considering the standard plastic bobbins, but those provide limited protection for handguards with built-in turn indicators. If the bike crashes while in motion (in other words, if it's not dropped at a standstill), the handlebar will turn and the handguard will grind into the pavement. It happened to my Versys, but the handguard is a regular ol' black plastic Barkbuster.

Those Ducabike handguard sliders are built to protect the handguard, which is an attractive quality when the handguard has a turn indicator built into it. On the other hand, the Ducabike handguard sliders are anodized aluminum. So the slider is scratched up and ugly after one crash or maybe even one drop. That's not the case with plastic bobbin sliders.

I have to agree with you there  - I have the bar end sliders fitted but they do not necessarily protect the (expensive) indicator from an impact that is partially from the front as well (like you I speak from past experience on this one)

Ideally I guess we need some feedback from someone who was had 1200 Enduro experience - they will be the people who have tried these in the past

I recently put these on my MTS950 to try and protect the handguards. Yes they are expensive, and yes I think they'll scuff up if/when the bike gets dropped. But I like them all the same 
I was hoping that they provide a bit more protection to the guards/indicators than other bar sliders.

Undodgy, thanks for the feedback - they do look good - I think I will invest instead of the bobbin type sliders I currently have fitted

I went ahead and bought a pair of Ducabike red handguard sliders and I like them. They’re not a color match, they’re not the same shade of red as the bike, but I don’t mind.
They are precisely made, and they seem sturdy enough to protect the handguards in a drop or a crash. And they look so sleek. Much better looking than the bar end weights I put on other bikes.

I’ve got them in black and feel they are a must have for effective hand guard protection along with the Evotech frame and axel sliders. Excellent products and stylish too.

I have found some similar protectors and far cheaper on eBay. I'm also sure I saw them on this forum. The item number is 142661202832.
