    (2) Remove original radiator bolt fit bracket and new longer bolt   (fit one side at a time)

    (3) Remove nut from original engine bolt.

    (4) Carefully push through the new bolt this will push out the original bolt. Refit base and painted panels.

    (5) loosely fit nuts to the 4 fixing point's, this will alow some movement.

    (6) Tighten up all bolts.

Fitting the bars is fairly straight forward  Instructions are included.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the bars. The paint finish has a stainless steel appearance.

Hi Great instruction & pix, just bought a set from Heed for 2021 MTS 950S.

Installation instructions can be downloaded from HEED website:

Hate to bring this back up - just purchased HEED crash bars for my 2018 multistrada 950.

Does anyone know if these are compatible or interfere with the OEM Ducati Skid plate (engine guard)?

    Thanks in advance!

No problem with my 2018 950. The Heed bars don't interfere with the engine guard.

The pics from NakiMike post show exactly where the bars are routed and connected.

Thanks @Funkster - appreciate the response! To confirm, your 2018 950 currently has both the Heed bars and manufacture ducati engine guard installed together?

    Thanks again!

Sorry I didn't pick up that it was the ducati engine guard. Mine has the standard plastic guard.

However, I still don't think that there will be an issue. The Heed bars don't cover the lower part of the engine.
