Side panel protection

Has anyone out there sourced or fabricated any protective film for the side panel under the tank  ? The one that gets scuffed by your trousers...

I appreciate there are plenty of suppliers out there who sell protective film, but I am not artistic enough to make my own...

I removed both of the panels and took them to an automobile body shop.  They covered both panels for $30.  I have tried to apply film before and always made a mess of it, so it was worth paying someone to do it.

But it's a 3d sticker and it will give as much protection as a clear wrap if not more
