Hi everyone, Been hoovering up the info on this forum for a while now , great source of useful information , thankyou. I'm expecting delivery of a  2018 MTS950 in the morning , the weather is shocking and there is salt on every road around the uk. So could be a couple of weeks before its maiden voyage . Before it goes anywhere i'll be applying ACF50 and installing a  fenda extenda , rad guard , oil cooler guard ,garmin zumo 390 . Looking forward to getting the run-in process out of the way. Hopefully the pannier kit , centre stand and heated grips will be in stock by the time its ready for its 1st service. previous bike was a hyperstrada 821 which was an awesome bike

    Welcome to the forum Simoncelli58.

Hopefully the beast from the east will pass soon and you can collect your bike and start getting some miles on her.

What colour did you get.... Red or White?

     :400: Simoncelli58 to the forum.

I'm a new member as well - and like you - have learnt so much about my 950 from this forum.

Enjoy it when you get the bike!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome  ...

To answer some Qs from posts above.......

    Bike was delivered this morning..
    It is red ..
may add some stickers in the summer !!
I'm hoping this 'beast from the east' is going back there soon so i can run her in
My experience of the MTS950 is limited to a demo ride in january around the trough of bowland for a couple of hours, felt at home and comfortable on it straight away , real easy to ride , so i had to have one , its less focussed than the hyperstrada which could keep up with anything on real roads... being only 5ft 6in i didnt find this a problem as i've owned a tiger 800xc and also a kawasaki versys 650 previously which are both long legged

    Thanks all again....
