New Bike First Service and add ons

I picked up my MTS a week ago and brought in in  to the dealer here in Khon Kaen Thailand for its 1000km service. The equivalent of $64 USD was the bill so no complaints about that. The 7500km is $161 and the 15,000km is $565.  Bike prices run way higher here in Thailand, the base MTS 950 goes for $20,000 compared to $14,000 in the USA but at least the service is cheaper. I love the bike, I have no complaints except the heat but it has been about 34-35C here. As long as I'm moving its fine but in traffic it definitely roasts the inner thighs. I got the "Adventure Touring" package which includes 38L Touratech panniers, centerstand, skidplate, crash bars, driving lights, and oil and radiator guards. I have fitted a Scottoiler, fender extender, Touratech rear fender extender, Grab On grips, ebay cell phone holder, screen protector, and Puig Multiregulable  "Clip-on"  visor. Thanks and safe rides! Brian

    Not seen a 7500km service recommended  :084:
We can only dream of being too hot over here. The MTS does get hot very quickly at a standstill and like most modern bikes the radiator pushes hot air over the rider. I also experience the occasional hot bum which I think is caused by the rear cylinder header pipe being up high close to the seat but why it's only occasionally I don't know  :027:

You've certainly got all the toys, lets see what a fully spec'd up bike looks like in glorious sunshine  :001:

In case anyone is wondering, the bike slides on the tile so I put the blue rubber mat under the centerstand so it is much easier to get on and off it.

I'm very jealous  :016: I would advise you to warm the bike up thoroughly before you ride when you're away. I've ridden when it's been pretty cold but Antarctic is gonna be colder   :190: :191:

LOL!!! I wish I could bring my bike with me down there. Coldest it gets here in Thailand unless you are on top of a mountain is 10c/50f and that is maybe a few days a year!
