extended warranty

Can I ask how many of you thought it worthwhile to take out the extended warranty for either 1 or 2 years and why. Thanks in anticipation of responses.

What's involved, timeframe, price, etc?

I was told it was a once only offer at the time of purchase (of the bike). It was very expensive IMHO  so I didn't bother.

Ducati Ever Red. 1 or 2 year extended warranty which as I understand has to be taken out and activated at time of purchase of bike. £349 and £649 if my memory is correct.
