So, I was given this beast whilst my Multi was in for its 1000km service.

And I must admit, I really loved it.
When i first approached it and swung a leg over, it felt like a kids toy. Although it was nice to be able to put both feet flat on the ground. The seat was comfy and my legs not too cramped, but it was quite a lean to the clip-ons, despite their big risers. I suspect my wrists and back would complain after not too long.
It felt faster than my bike, possibly due to different tuning but no doubt also partly due to the sporty seating position putting you in the frame of mind.
From off the bike It looked nicer than I remembered from photos - and sounded better than the Multi too. From on the bike, it felt a tiny bit more basic compared to the Multi (things like the dash, the screen adjustment mechanism, even the ignition and key weren't quite as polished looking)
Overall, I couldn't quite live without the comfort and convenience of my Multi (I do at least one 1500+ mile tour per year in Europe), but otherwise i would be very tempted. It felt nice to ride a 'sportsbike' again; its size made it nippy and agile and filtering was so easy. I wouldn't buy the particular example I rode though, as it had only done 500 miles and I wasn't very sympathetic about the run in guidelines
