Hey, coincidentally my insurance invoice just arrived. I ride anywhere from 3 to 5 thousand kilometers a year depending on weather. Full coverage with no claims and been riding for 25 years my annual bill this year was 1186 Canadian dollars and I can only ride half the year!! Sounds like you are doing O.K. across the pond. Just remember when you think you have it bad it could always be worse. :211:

Renewed mine yesterday, fully comp with full no claims £199 + £65 for full European breakdown cover. Down from over £400 last year  :005:

A couple of things surprised me in the small print; I've got to tell them 14 days before I go abroad (so no last minute getaways allowed apparently) and the bike's not insured for theft within 500m of my house if it's not in the garage (so no leaving it on the drive even during the day). As usual they'll insure it but anything that's likely to happen isn't covered  :013:

Conman may I ask why you got European breakdown cover as your Ducati covers you all over Europe for Two years

My original insurers included breakdown as part of the policy and it couldn't be taken off. When I changed insurers I just automatically added it.

I'm not sure how good (responsive) and comprehensive the Ducati is and whether it just includes recovery to a Ducati dealership, of which there are not that many  :027: I could have saved £60 but for peace of mind...

Wow that sounds good - do you mind sharing who that’s with

I’m with Remasis ? And pay just under £300.
That covers just about everything possible inc. £500 gear cover. I have multiple years NCB which is protected and very low excess. Always looking to reduce the cost though.
Full of enthusiasm - in all the wrong places

Quote was with Hastings. No extras though. Just comprehensive with protected no claims. Depends what you want included as price does go up fast when you start adding aforementioned ‘extras’.  Bemoto is also worth a try, I went with them in the end due to some of the much lesser restrictions on eg garaging etc. They also include pretty much everything.

I went with Hastings - their telephone quote was just shy of £444, but when I went on go compare, I removed the breakdown as its included by Ducati, I got a new price of £260 from Hastings, I rang them back directly and they web price matched. Thats fully comp, legal & leathers included, 2 yrs no claims. The cheapest I found on go compare was £180 - but a £900 excess, so I didn't use that one.
