    MTS950 curious poster here  :001:

Currently riding a Triumph Tiger 800, which I've had for the last 6 years
Looks like the MTS 950 could well be my new bike, still in the research phase at the moment.
Probably going to get an ex demo or 1 year old model, something like that - is there anything worth looking out for or avoiding?

    cheers all

Hi Rtwo and welcome to the forum.

Like the Nozzle, I changed to a MTS 950 from a Tiger 800 Xrx 2015 model. Absolutely love the Ducati, it's full of soul and character which the Tiger was missing (despite being a good bike).

I would say go for it.

hi i had a tiger 800xc in 2011, no doubt a great all round bike as well, but for me the ducati is a nicer looking bike and has a far better screen/wind protection and has a a lot more torque. I would put the Ducati leaps ahead of the Tiger.

Never had a tiger had several test rides I found the tracer was a better bike but the multi is better than both

    Thanks all

The Tracer 900 GT is on my radar but I found the ride of the standard Tracer 900 a bit ... I dunno, vague?

I found the suspension wanting on the tracer I used to get a scary high speed shake

Believe me the Ducati is superior in every aspect to the tracer

Which Tiger the XR or XC?
Anything more than two wheels is unnecessary.
