Throttle less responsive at 6000 rpm?

Just noticed today that the throttle felt quite less responsive around 6000 rmp. Closing the throttle from this regime and opening smoothly just after felt like nothing was happening for longer than usual.

I've been using the panigale spacers for maybe 1000k so maybe it could have a link?

Anyone else noticed something like that?

I’ve had nothing like that. As murf46 said above, just hang on and watch the world fly by. Get your dealer to take a look at it.

Thanks for your inputs, maybe I'm just being paranoid.

It doesn't lack response if I want a good acceleration,
it is more a feeling that it takes more throttle to match the rev slowly than at other revs.

I'll get it checked if it keeps going.

I can think of a few reasons you may notice this.

Firstly, I notice when I close the throttle at high speed (and at 6000rpm you will be going quick in any gear), engine braking really slows the bike. Maybe the bike dropped "off the boil" to a much lower rpm than you expected.

Secondly, holding 6000rpm will need a lower throttle opening than accelerating fast up to it. Once you close the throttle, you're going to need to open it up a lot more than you had it.

Thirdly, - I'm guilty of this - you get used to the high speed and think this is not moving fast enough but actually everything is disappearing behind you at an impressive rate. Check your mirror, I was a bit shocked when I did   :156:

Finally, your bikes broke. It won't be :016:

Or you put poor quality petrol in but I'm sure you didn't do that or  :192:
Anything more than two wheels is unnecessary.
