Look at what turned up on my drive a couple of hours back



A Royal Enfield Continental GT535 of 2016 vintage.......yes, not 1916! Only 970 miles on the clock, which is not even at the end of the running-in mileage recommendation.

535cc single cylinder motor churning out a whopping 30 horses. But, it certainly ain’t no slouch and the noise from the reverse cone mega makes it all seem 10 times faster. It spits and it snarls and, yes, it does vibrate like any big ‘thumper’ should, but it is motorcycling in its purest form IMHO. As for the looks, well I think she’s another stunner in red. Sat next to the multi in the garage, I just looked at them and was overawed.

I’m just back from a twenty mile spin around the lanes and can’t wait to get out tomorrow. All this joy for a mere £3700

Looks like great fun Neil, I have always fancied one of them but can't justify two bike with the missus. They just don't understand lol
