Exhaust valve removal

Has anybody done this themselves???

If so how is was it???

I drilled out the valve itself and left the servo, bracket and cables attached so it won’t throw an engine code. I purchased the VIZI tech and will attach it once I figure out how to access the servo and bracket. It’s buried pretty deep.

So if I understand, the valve in is standard position is OPEN ?? therefore I can install a servo exhaust eliminator and the valve will be always OPEN, Right???

Does you notice any changes on the power deliver especially on torque low RPM mid RPM or High RPM??

It’s a shop rag to prevent metal filings and screws from sliding down into the CAT.

just put a servo exhaust valve eliminator, so now the valve is always open, gone for a ride and notice less power at midrange, 😒😒

the exhaust is all stock, so I dind't like it,  the sound is more de same, it looks to run smoother in low revs, but mid range did notice lack of torque, so back to the begining and put the servo exhaust doing is job until I put a aftermarket exhaust.... cheers

Resurrecting this as might be doing this mod myself ... I've done this on my BMW R9T - but it's much easier as the valve is in a removable part of the exhaust so you can just buy a short piece of pipe to remove it.

I was interested to hear your feedback @pmxbmega - and just wanted to double check the Servo Eliminator is just for  cancelling the dashboard error ... it doesn't change the position of the valve itself.

I read on another forum some very positive comments about the biking running better low revs - which is what I'd like as it seems quite jerky.
Other forum was related to 1200 DVT - I presume the impact is the same/similar.

yes, the servo eliminator, is like has it called, it just eliminate the servo engine and send the information to the ecu saying that the servo is working fine, so no error on the dashbord.

I just used an eliminator on my MTS950S SW with DSS. It actually threw a DSS error.I presume one lead is for DSS (i have 6 active rather than 5) it did not activate valve and no valve error though.

I give a big thumbs up to Vizi-Tec. Great products and customer service. I have the Servo Eliminators on my Multi with the Delkavic Full system and my Diavel with a Cat Eliminator pipe. No problems, easy installation. I never did get the valve servo removed on the Multi, that is in a BI-CH of a location to get to, it wasn't to hard to get to on the Diavel. I also have their Brake Light Modulator and it works great as well.
