    Greetings from Pune, India

    Dear Ducatisti/Ducatiste,

I am Ragavan from Pune, India. I have purchased a Multistrada 950 last month, and I would take the delivery in a week or two. I am excited to be a part of this family.
I currently ride a 2016 KTM RC 390 (I use this sports bike as an adventure touring bike and trust my spine and fitness to carry the incredible stress it puts me through). I also own a 2004 Royal Enfield Electra 350cc.
Solo adventure touring is my passion, and I look forward to hearing/sharing wonderful stories of great journeys.

Having said that, I have started to taste my first bad experience with Ducati already:
I purchased a spoked-wheel version, but the spoked-wheels are backordered in Ducati Italy, and the dealer is helpless and they are not getting any meaningful response from Ducati India. I really hope I would get to take my bike with spoked wheels fitted.
    Keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks for having me in this forum!. I sincerely look forward to being an active member.

:401: to the forum, Ragavan, you are very welcome. Unfortunately, it is a bad time to be ordering Ducati parts as they have been moving their warehouse in Italy. I don't know how near to completion this is but, naturally, the flow of parts has been disrupted. And, it's coming close to August when Italy goes on holiday. Good luck in getting the wheels.

Anyway, you'll love the 950, especially for touring. It is brilliant! BTW, my other bike is a Royal Enfield Continental GT

Thank you Neil. That's given me enough confidence that the delay is due to valid reasons!, and not the dealer making stories up :) I am looking forward to great weekends on my Multistrada.

Welcome! Take delivery and ride the hell out of it until the new wheels come, that's what I was going to do but the wheels and all the other accessories came in less than a week back in March here in Thailand. Take care, this bike has a bit more power than your other two bikes. Cheers! Brian

Anything more than two wheels is unnecessary.

Certainly! :) Thanks. Today I got it registered. Hopefully I will take delivery of it sometime this week.

    Welcome to the forum.

You are getting close to picking up your new Mutley.

I did my first ride. Here are some pictures. Could anyone also tell me under which section in the forum can I write about this ride?
