    Eastern Europe Trip

Off on the road again tomorrow. Overnight ferry, Harwich to Hook fo Holland. Across to Berlin where I’ll be staying the weekend with one of my sons. Then to Warsaw for two nights with a day doing some of the sights. Down to Krakow, also for two nights. I’ve booked a guided tour of Auschwitz which I know will be pretty harrowing. Then it’s a short ride to Prague where I will be enjoying the hospitality of Tozes and his good lady for the weekend. Really looking forward to seeing the city and the Czech countryside. And then, a two day ride back home.

I’ll keep you posted on the way.

Nothing really to report on at the moment. A very uninspiring ride to Berlin across Holland and Germany. Today has been a day of sightseeing with my son and his girlfriend. A river cruise tomorrow and back on the bike on Monday, when I head to Warsaw. I’ll let you know about Poland.

Wassers, I am touched by your concern for my well-being :002: Blistering heat all the way from Berlin to Warsaw today. Some 350 miles and the temperature didn’t show below 29C. The bike and I coped really well until it came to finding my apartment; the Garmin was quite bamboozled by the maze of tiny roads! Still, got there in the end. It’s a lovely apartment, which makes it all worthwhile. Always feel better after a nice, long shower. Off to eat now and then sort out some sightseeing for tomorrow.  :158:
