    Meet Rising Bridge services (junction of the A56 and A680), 09.15 for prompt 09.30 depart. Please assemble in the Car Park to the RHS of McDonald's (next to the dual carriageway) to help avoid confusion if any other bike groups are meeting here.

    A56 to M65, across M65 onto A6068 towards Padiham

    Left at 2nd set of traffic lights onto Whalley Road through Read.

    Right at Traffic Lights onto A671

    Left at Traffic Lights towards Whalley

    Right at bottom of hill then 3rd left onto Station Road (B6246) heading towards Great Mitton

    Continue on to Whitewell then Dunsop Bridge

    Through Marshaw then Left onto Long Lane towards Abbeystead

    Continue through Abbeystead on Abbeystead Road towards Dolphinholme

    After Dolphinholme turn Right at crossroads towards Galgate

    Cross over M6 towards Conder Green, past Websters Farm on RHS then take left turn towards Conder Bridge.

    Left onto A588 then Right onto B5290 towards Glasson Dock
    The route length is approximately 40 miles and is expected to take about 90 minutes to reach Glasson Dock.

    Please make sure you have enough fuel before setting off as fuel stops on the route are limited.

    At junctions please lookout for the rider following you, if you can’t see anyone please park safely if possible, until the next rider comes along and indicates to turn, try to make sure they’re one of our group and hopefully we should be able to stay together but there will be short stops to allow for re-grouping.

    This is open to anyone who would like to join us. Group members, observers, past members, associates and friends.

    This run is being organised by a member of the Bury and Rochdale Advanced Motorists (BRAM) but this is not an official IAM or BRAM sanctioned event.

    There will be no coaching or guidance given during this ride, this is a social event for people in the Bury and Rochdale area who would like to come along to meet and ride with like minded individuals.

    In participating in this run you must accept that the IAM and BRAM their officers or members cannot be held responsible for any consequences. At all times you are responsible for your own safety and actions.
