Used this site a lot when I was thinking about getting the MTS950 so thought it only fair I join now I have one in case I can help anyone out.
Looked at all the usual suspects but a test ride on the 950 blew my mind, that exhaust note 'wwhhhhaaaaarrrrpppppp' and torque curve was just what I was looking for.
Tried the 1260 and Triumph Tiger too but they were just too refined (boring?).
Excellent buying experience at Ducati Leeds.

Usually ride with the wife on pillion and we've done around 2,000 miles in a couple of months, all around the back lanes of the dales, lakes and moors.
Swapped the front and rear pedal rubbers as advised on here, that sorted the brake pedal.
Sorted the rear preload when I had the test bike but only Just got around to adjusting the front suspension and its a massive improvement.
Never been one for aftermarket exhausts but that Akrapovic sure looks pretty...
