Hallo from just outside the factory!

Hello everybody, my name is Marsel and I'm a new owner of the Multistrada 950 from Bologna - yes, just from the same city where the factory is !
    I got the MS950 last saturday, after driving 50.000km with a Monster 796, a Monster 696, and previously I had a Fazer 600 and a BMW Scarver F650CS.
My MS950 is red, equipped with Touring Pack and anti-theft alarm. I also purchased the low saddle (I'm 5'10") but I still have difficulties to put the feet on the ground when stopping at crosses.
    Ciao !

I don't know when you placed the order, but I ordered the bike on 21st January, asking for collection in April, and I got it in 3 weeks.
So I think they plan the bikes as well as they receive the orders. I purchased straight from the factory outlet maybe this may have speeded up the order

Congrats Marsel. Welcome to the forum and enjoy your bike. Mine arrives Friday (sorry to rub it in Murf46  :164: I'm sure yours will arrive very soon) and it took 4 weeks from ordering, although its a stock bike with just a centre stand added.
Sometimes you need a really crooked road to get your head straight

Hi Marsel - have you found the lower seat lessens the turbulence from the screen? I got a lot of buffeting on my helmet on the test ride; adjusting the screen made no difference.

    Hello,
I found some turbolence with the low seat on the shoulders and still some on the helmet. My helmet is a Shoei Qwest, which is more  egg-shaped compared to standard helmets, this means that is higher then the Others. I had to adjust the windscreen up and down because its edge in on my horizon view - so I have to move the head up and down to focus the Street. But I will probably trim the low seat to be even lower - I think the turbolence will not be felt again.

Marsel - thanks for the reply.
You could also consider changing the screen. I've read some good things about Givi who have a touring screen  (7 cm taller than stock windscreen) and Puig who do a sport screen (bubble design helps diminish the air effect on a rider's helmet). Don't know if 1200 parts will fit 950 yet.  :305:
