    That old perennial ...

I have found the P Scorpion 2’s to be excellent in all situations and get what I feel is a good mileage out of them, with little or no drop in grip, I do feel them squaring off and the front does deminish slightly from around 5k Miles, in my opinion.
Considering the comments made in past threads, I’d like to hear from anyone who moved from these to a more road oriented tyre and what their experience has been.
About to replace my 2nd set of ‘2’s’ and would appreciate a heads up 👍🏻

I'll be very interested to read some reviews. I'll change my original set early next year.
Currently got 8100miles on them and still plenty of tread. The rear has starting to square but I do t feel it on the road.

In my opinion the Scorpion Trail II IS a road oriented tire and a fine one. I found it lacking for off road. After 10,000 miles I replaced them with Shinko 705s
This is what a Dual Sport tire looks like:

The front has 7500 miles and still has plenty of tread for an upcoming 1500 mile trip. I replaced the rear with another 705  last week at 7000 miles, a little tread still left but not enough for my trip. The Shinkos handle very well on the road, better than I expected. Not quite  as good as the Scorpions but I don't really feel hampered. I am cornering  with confidence and only occasionally feel a slight slip. Well worth the price, in my opinion.

Had a great conversation with a tyre specialist today when I was having another rear Scorpion 2 fitted 👍🏻
As I like these tyres as much as I do and get what I think is an acceptable mileage, their opinion was that considering the Sport touring models available would not give any real advantage over the Scorpion 2’s !
So, Pirelli Scorpion Trail 2’s it is for me 😉
