    New From Texas

    Hi All!

Started riding again about one year ago.  Honda 2007 VFR 800 and just purchased Ducati Desert Sled about 4 mo ago.  I ride 1-2 time during week and All Day Sunday!  Since its been cold in Texas I've been riding the VFR more than my Desert Sled due to windscreen.  (I do have a TourTech Screen on the DS but its very loud with the turbulence ).

So just by chance I stopped by the Ducati dealer and demo'd a 2017 MTS950.  Wow, just beautiful ride and NO wind!  So I am really interested in Getting one!  I don't want 3 bikes though so one of them will have to go...  Hope to learn lots here on the MTS 950!

:401: to the forum, motorman. The 950 is a fantastic bike and you won’t regret your decision if you get one.

IMO I don't think you'll be needing your VFR after getting a 950 MTS.

Keeping the Sled makes more sense for when you want to play in the dirt.

Sometimes you need a really crooked road to get your head straight

The MTS950 is a pretty good desert sled and VFR rolled into one if you want it to be.
Anything more than two wheels is unnecessary.

I agree!  I'm the new owner of a 'left over' 2017 Whitey!  Very excited and now I just need to get her broken in for a ride out to Big Bend Park!

    Pics coming soon!

Good to hear you made the purchase.  I bet you love it as much as I love mine.

CZ I'm just dying to get thru the break-in period!  This wet weather is driving me bananas.  I only have 25 mi on it now and I still need to scrub in the tires!
