    Accessory Screen Options

Just a quick one as I know this has been done to death in other posts, however, I am seeking some clarification, so bear with me  :155:....

I am looking to reduce the dreaded wind "drone" induced by my standard Mutley screen.  The noise never goes away, although it is slightly reduced if the screen is in the highest position.  I can eliminate the noise completely if I drop my head a couple of inches or so from normal riding height.  I am just over 6ft tall, and have a HJC-ST full face lid which seems aerodynamic - no sharp angles.

I want to resolve the problem so I am thinking of either trying the screen spacers as Baby D has done, or the MRA touring screen with tilt visor, or the Puig touring screen (without tilt visor, model #M7623H).

Which one is most likley to solve the problem given my stature and set-up as I don't want to waste my money if that can possibly be avoided......let me know.

MRA Touring plus Xcreen spoiler has worked great for me.  I am 6’0” tall.

Thanks for the replies CZ47racer, Murf46 - much appreciated. Can I ask did either of you try the MRA screen with bolt on visor first or did you go straight to the clip on type?  Also, how is the wind noise without the clip on if you have tried that?
    Thanks in advance.....

I purposefully bought the clip-on Xcreen, so I can use it on the MRA windscreen on my other bike.  Never ridden the Ducati without it in place.

Thanks all - very helpful.  BabyD thanks for the offer, but I am not keen on the "stepped" look of the Givi screen (fickle I know..)  :038:

Murf46-  so you have the MRA screen with visor fitted as supplied (ie bolted on, not clip on)?  How tall are you if you don't mind me asking?

At this point, it looks like it will be between the Puig 7623 touring screen (with or without adjustable visor) or the MRA screen with visor.  The MRA screen seems to be slightly smaller than standard though (50cm), and not everyone has been pleased with its performance.

Any further comments welcome.....before I take the plunge
