Just to say hi to everybody. I'm due to get my new 950S next week so thanks for the info given in this forum. Really looking forward to riding it. I ride a Street Triple at the moment and will keep it for a while as it it a great bike but want the Mutley for touring. Heading for Norway as soon as it is run in.  :305:

    Congrats mutleycrew.

Is it standard, or did you order any farkles?
Sometimes you need a really crooked road to get your head straight

Well I got the touring pack too and hopefully I can transfer my Garmin from the Street Triple. I will get some crash bars at some time when my bank account has recovered! I think the Ibex ones look good.

:400: And I agree re the Ibex bars - less visually intrusive to my eyes - but then I'm biased having chosen them myself  :002:

Hi Ziggy, did you fit them yourself? Looks straightforward and I could no doubt do it but it looks like they bolt to an engine mounting so as the bike is new, I would worry about the bikes warranty :084:

    Welcome Mutleycrew.

Waiting even for a few weeks is agony i know as i'm in the same boat.

Will take a look at the ibex bars as i'm thinking of doing the same.

Yes fitted them myself to my new bike - I wouldn't worry about warranty - can't see how it would be deemed to affect anything. Fitting is fairly straightforward other than that they are a good tight fit so it takes a bit of wiggling. ducati_al on this forum had real trouble trying to fit and ended up returning the bars but hopefully that was just an isolated incident.
I really like them and would heartily recommend.
