Ducati has released an E-bike yours for a small cost of 6,250€   test ride one now at participating Ducati dealers.......only 2 Ducati dealers in UK

I suspect one is paying a premium for the Ducati name. I wonder if this is an actual Ducati item or a rebrand of another mtb manufacturer's bike

It's a re-branded bike made by Thok. They're kind of a low-level manufacturer making mid to high end bikes for sale online only. As to the price, it's not bad around mid range for the type of bike and quite competitive. Ducati Store are advertising them at £5500 which is about £2000 lower than I was expecting. When I'm not on my 950 I'm on one of my mountain bikes (anything more than two wheels is unnecessary - ooh a new tag line  ).
The website description needs some serious editing though, it's all over the place

Looks quite nice but my choice would be the Pivot Shuttle which is the electric version of the Mach 5.5 that I currently ride.

That Pivot is a lovely piece of kit  but a bit too pricey for my wallet

Yeah, price of good mountain bike kit makes motorcycles seem like good value.
