    New member just picked up my new 950 about 6 weeks ago.  Break in period is killing me, how fun is the bike above 6k rpm?

    Welcome to the forum and congratulations on making a great decision.  You will love it at every rpm, but I agree the sound and the surge above 6K is phenomenal.

    Welcome! You will find lots of great info here.  I rode my bike every single night in the freezing cold to finish the break-in in one week.  That noise!  I was sold the minute I hit 7k  :005:
